The
Porsche Tennis Grand Prix tournament recently announced part of their line-up,
with 8 of the current Top 10 players in the world attending the tournament.

They
announced that ALL 8 of the WTA Finals qualifiers would participate at the 2017
Porsche Tennis Grand Prix event, which means that only Serena Williams and
Johanna Konta are the only players of the Top 10 who are not attending the
event.
World No.1
and 2-time defending champion Angelique Kerber is going to defend her title
from 2016 at her home country, having defeated fellow compatriot Laura
Siegemund in the 2016 final. She would be joined by her WTA Finals conqueror in
Dominika Cibulkova, the 5th ranked player in the world. Agnieszka
Radwanska, who is making her 10th appearance in 11 years, would also
join the tournament as one of the top seeds. The highest ranked Romanian in the
world Simona Halep would also be fighting for the title in Stuttgart. 2009
champion and the resurgent player in Svetlana Kuznetsova would also be part of
the entry list. 3 young stars in the Top 10 of the rankings; Madison Keys,
Karolina Pliskova, and Garbine Muguruza would also be part of the impressive
line-up.
