Zverev had had his breakthrough season, breaking into the Top 20 of the
rankings and having his first Top 10 wins this year over Federer, Berdych,
Wawrinka and Thiem.
Zverev
reached 3 finals this year in Nice, Halle and St. Petersburg and winning in St.
Petersburg, defeating World No.3 Stan Wawrinka in the final. Zverev is now the
youngest player in the Top 50 of the ATP rankings at 19 years old.
